Join us on June 18, 2022 for our 10 Mile and 5K Races

Race Day Info

Registration is limited to the first 1,100 runners so preregistration is encouraged.  The race begins at 7am with packet pick up on the Friday afternoon before the race from 3-7pm  and on the day of the race from 5:30am to 6:45am at the picnic pavilion behind the old gas station next to The Findery.  Registration is online only at Runsignup.com/Race/TN/BellBuckle/RCMoonPie.  Race Day registration is available if pre-registration does not fill up. 

Race shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register.  There is a full breakfast offered to all runners after the race which Runner’s World magazine called “some of the best food you will find at a race!”

The race begins on Hinkle Hill adjacent to the Bell Buckle downtown area.  The finish line is across the quilt square in the downtown parking lot. Course maps are available on the race website.

The mat is pulled at the 2 ½ hour mark with trophy presentation at 8:30 for the 5K and at 10:00 for the 10 Mile at the stage area behind the downtown square where the RC–MoonPie Festival is held.  Showers are provided at The Webb School Gym after the race.

The RC-MoonPie Race partners with the Nashville Striders and timing is provided by A Matter of Timing.

Trophies are given for the top three finishers in age divisions for both male and female for the top three finishers.
